Hope you like the new website and the new band name. Thanks go out in particular to Andrew Rickards who has put in many hours at the IT coal face to see this website through.
Thanks be also to Charlie Mouyat from Studio Nero who generated much of the art in the first place.
So …..some news….
I’m usually pretty fit and healthy but when I get sick I do it in style.
I’ve been missing in action for much of the past little while having my heart attended to. I’ve got blocked arteries that are being drilled out and held open with stents. I had no symptoms and its lucky i discovered the problem when I did. I’m pro active about my health and have a good G.P.
I’ve still got 1 more more op to go in Feb then all going well I should be fine. I must say I feel pretty good already and they are only half way throughout the job. Thanks to the folks at the Eastern Heart Clinic at Prince of Wales hospital for keeping my alive.
I know thats not very musical news but its amazing how many musical ideas you get when you are forced to stay still for a week. The next project which i will move on next week is to mix the live album we did early this year. I’m really looking forward to that.
Daniel Di Giovanni who recorded the live shows will be back in Australia in December and he may get involved as well.
Congrats go to Bill Jacobi our bass player for winning the ‘Hitting the Road’ songwriting competition with his song ‘Ride’ and he will be performing at Mullum Music Festival and The Falls Music & Arts Festival Byron as a result of his win.
Also congrats to our drummer Dave Marsalis who has just played drums on 2 tracks for Chuck D from Public Enemy a few weeks ago. nice work Dave!
I’m looking forward to a good run of summer dates. We will be up and down the coast as usual. see you then.
We will give it all we’ve got….and then some…
adios amigos
